Air Handlers has successfully completed an extensive number of commercial projects since its inception in 1967 in both the select bidder market and private sector design/build, including federal, state, local government and school district projects, office buildings, tenant improvements, churches, hospitals and health care facilities.
Air Handlers understands the importance of top quality craftsmanship and bringing a job in on time and on budget. We are selective in the projects we pursue so as to not overload our capabilities resulting in poor delivery. As a result, we are able to quickly and fully adapt to perform to the requests and needs of owners, architects, engineers and contractors. Energy-efficient, quiet, reliable and comfortable operation of all systems is a top priority.
Air Handlers routinely performs commercial plan specification work and design/build projects ranging from large custom residences to multi-story commercial buildings. We work from a fully-tooled sheet metal fabrication facility and our sheet metal mechanics are required to complete a minimum of five (5) years of technical schooling before reaching journeyman status and pursue continuing education thereafter. Risk Management, accident prevention and OSHA safety standard programs are always fully implemented and we are proud recipients of SMACNA’s Zero Injury Award for the years 2008, 2009 and 2010.
